I am an artist and textile designer living and working in Chattanooga TN.   I have an art degree from University of West Georgia in Carrollton, Ga where I lived from the age of 12 until moving to Chattanooga in 2000.   I design for patterns for rugs, and I hope to someday expand that into other surface design. I love creating patterns. And I love painting. And I love printmaking. And I love sculpture. My problem is I love it all.

Influenced by rug design, I got curious about fiber art.   In weaving I found a new way of expression, and I find it to be a very soothing practice. Since 2017 I’ve been teaching weaving to others.

Every first Friday of the month I join other artists in my building in opening my studio to the public for a night of food, wine, and sharing art.   You can find my studio at Facebook at  https://www.facebook.com/Studio4KChattanooga/
